`Just Dance is an intermediate through advanced role playing site that takes place in New York. The city has a prominent dance school by the name of Clarksbury that every dancer hopes to attend to sky rocket their career. The scouts come to all of their concerts looking for the ones who can make it into the big time Broadway shows, and even in film and television.
It's that time of year again, and the entire school is buzzing for the upcoming performance. The concert will be held in a different theater uptown, and there are limited times to prectice on the stage because of this. So, staging and spacing are done in increments of 4 throught the day, and soon they will be brought out into the bright lights to perform. Who will survive, and who will crack under the pressure?

`Shut up and let me go |Jayce| « Thread Started on Sept 16, 2008, 7:16pm »
Darwina walked around the city calmly. She smiled at everyone she saw . -Well , that was because she had a big smile the whole time . She walked inside stores then went out . She bought ice cream , it fell to the ground as a grown man accidently pumped into her ,and almost made her fall , which got her pissed of and snapped in German .
Anyways she just kept walking casually around the city ,after all . Darwina then sat down by a bench and texted to some friends calmly , without caring about the world around her. When done , she kept walking around the city , letting her legs take her where ever they would take her. Yes , I am typing that she is walking , because she is walking around the city , so , I cant tell lies like if she went to hmm , the club , because she is only 18 so. '
Looking for a place to stop and take another rest , she decided to go to central park . Anyways Darwina always had loved central park , it was her favorite place to relax , socialize , you know normal pre-adults do.
At the moment , she had no smile in her face . Slowly she looked for a spot to sit , and she did. She crouched down and took a seat on the grass area. Darwina before doing anything , or thinking of doing anything , she took a glance at the sky, which is hard to explain how beautiful the tree leaves were . She looked in her purse for a book , and found "Faust" by Goethe , which was one of her favorite books. Patiently she started reading it , for the 100th time .

Today was one of those days that nothing at all can seem to catch that spark of interest, that flame of excitement. Jayce is a guy that is always looking for something, something just so it isn't nothing. In a city like this theres bound to be something to fill that, some intriguing story to be written some challenge to be fulfilled. Usually there is, a party, a club, some girl somewhere, even just the regular dance. But not today. Today that thing he was after, just couldn't be found. Whether that was frustrating at the lack of a solution, or satisfying at the idea of the challenge itself and the knowledge that when he did find that something it would be better. Jayce never was one to let things like this get to him though, why let it? So he chose to enjoy it. Things come as they come, let them come, and embrace it. Do that, and your in for a treat. This world holds many wonders, when you don't let any of it get to you, theres a certain fascination to it, and a way out.
Whatever it was that he was after now, there was nothing in the streets of this city that was going to have any effect. Which wasn't surprising. Maybe he was just looking for a piece of home. Aimlessly this brought him to the park. Still surrounded by the city, but holding its natural beauty nonetheless. Besides, he was feeling the most relaxed he'd been in a while what with the annual performance and all. It wasn't natural for Jayce to be so worked up about something, returning to that state that has become his own unique way was definately something to be pleased about. Now he could be just Jayce, without those so rare slip ups that had been becoming more and more frequent.
With the light breeze lightly stirring the blonde strands of hair about his face, he walked through the park, blue eyes gazing around the landscape. He wore simple jeans that looked like that had been through more than enough to become natural and comfortable on him. A plain white cotton t-shirt clinging nicely to his well formed chest underneath an unbuttoned loosely hanging white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
Walking alone through the deserted park, the silence was too... silent. Imagine that yeah? Except it was an enclosed silence, all the city noise still around them, yet the sounds of the park were silent, it wasn't really the best location for a park. The silence wasn't exactly from the lack of noise, but more the lack of fitting noise, noise he knew should be there. He took out his mp3, putting the headphones around his neck and letting the music play. He thought he was alone, not like it would have effected him if he wasn't though. Even if he had known there were people he'd probably have still started singing just the same. His voice rose and fell nicely to the tune, his British accent apparent yet not thick. Jayce had a fantastic voice, just naturally, which made sense really considering how much music is in his life.

Focusing on her book , she started thinking about things . Just things, that came into her mind. "Faust" is a book that leaves you thinking as you read it . Same as the second part. Her eyes followed the german words gently ,not wanting to misunderstand anything.
She wanted to get up and just go home or , to dance but no , she was way to lazy to get her lazy butt up and head home at least in a taxi . So , instead , Darwina just stayed there , reading.
"God I need to talk to someone. " she thought , she needed to socialize. She could hear her mom's voice in her head Behalten Sie, um mit Bastarden und Dick zu sozialisieren, werden Sie sterben. She rolled her eyes to that thought which meant along the lines of -Keep socializing with bastards and dicks , you are going to die -
Darwina closed her book and sighed. She was so bored , she could kill herslelf. She took out her i-pod ,and got up. Taking Placing her purse on her shoulder.
Later as she got up , she noticed someone she had seen before . At the dance school. She had seen him before but never really go the chance to get to know him. Quickly she went up to him and said kind of with a flirt " Haven't I seen you around Clarksbury dance school before?"
Before he could reply , she looked down at the floor and licked her lips ,cause they were getting kind of chapped

As the music played, he let the lyrics flow from his voice, soft and musical ringing through the quiet surroundings. When the voice on the recording changed to that of a female though, he stopped, listening with a soft smile at the memory, and picking up the lines again when his part came. The female was his step-sister, only they were a bit more complicated than that, hence the four letters tattooed on his hand, VERA, each one and each mark to go with it unique and non-professionally done. This particular recording had been done this past Christmas when he had gone back to England for the break. Veronica was an amazing singer and artist, he was only helping with that. He may have a spectacular voice, but dancing was his thing, dancing and the music that went with it. Singing was hers, he'd help her just as she'd help him.
The singing ended but the voices could still be heard, a little bit at the ended of the recording that wasn't part of the song but they hadn't edited out. It was meaningless really, just a bit of laughing, playful screams. He still remembered the moment, though as far as the sound went there was no significance. The thing was, they were really close, too close. In some ways she was like his little sister, in others, she wasn't. But above all, he wanted whats best for her, to protect her. She wanted him, but in his eyes, he wasn't good for her. That was part of the reason he came all the way here just to dance- being away from him would make it easier for her to have a life of her own, yet if she really needed him, he would be there in a heartbeat. So no, he isn't taken, because he doesn't belong to anybody. But that doesn't change the fact that she is and would always be the only person in the world that could ever effect him like that, that he truly loves. Though that doesn't stop him from being with plenty of girls. Just, Jayce isn't the person to settle and commit to anything. Really, being here, dancing, is the most committed he's ever been, the hardest he's ever worked for anything productive.
Another song started, this one just a normal song, nothing he or anybody he knew created, nothing special, just a song. Part of the never-ending vast variety of music he enjoys. That's when the girl approached him. Most people don't notice little things, or what they mean, but Jayce does. The majority of people don't just walk up to somebody they don't know out of the blue without a specific reason, even if they do recognize them. The fact that she did just that, to him, was a good thing. he interested him.
The girl in front of him now was slender and... quite gorgeous, with long, silky, dark hair and dark aquamarine eyes. Hearing her voice, he turned his gaze to her, noting the familiarity. She mentioned Clarksbury so that was obviously why he would recognize her, and her him. Even with a simple question like that, Jayce could catch the slightest bit of flirt like an obvious motion, though for now, he ignored it. This wasn't exactly uncommon for him.
He lowered his headphones, the music barely audible now. "Quite probable, considering I go there..." He responded in that fantastic British accented voice of his. The tone he chose to say it in wasn't at all sarcastic or rude, but holding a touch of interest and fascination to it, not quite returning the flirt but not shutting it down. Hanging right between the two.
