`Just Dance is an intermediate through advanced role playing site that takes place in New York. The city has a prominent dance school by the name of Clarksbury that every dancer hopes to attend to sky rocket their career. The scouts come to all of their concerts looking for the ones who can make it into the big time Broadway shows, and even in film and television.
It's that time of year again, and the entire school is buzzing for the upcoming performance. The concert will be held in a different theater uptown, and there are limited times to prectice on the stage because of this. So, staging and spacing are done in increments of 4 throught the day, and soon they will be brought out into the bright lights to perform. Who will survive, and who will crack under the pressure?

Ran into a little snag with the COTM slots because there aren't any female characters signed up besides Admin, so the slots will be left open for September and voting will begin later in the month for the October characters.

Grand Opening of the site! Although the site still needs some very minor graphics (like Affiliate buttons) we are still fully functional for role playing purposes. We are currently accepting applications from this date forward. Hooray!

THE HOT, HOT LOOKS Celebrity: Channing Tatum Height: six feet tall Weight: one hundred and forty five pounds

Description:
Ryan is a tall, skinny but well-built kinda guy. He had to get those abs somehow, right? Well.. let's see.. way back before his mother died, he had started working out. He had been a lanky kid that was a freakin' stick for christ's sake. But anyways, he has chesnutish brown hair, topaz tinted eyes and tanned skin to boot. His body is basically built for dance which isn't such a bad thing, right? -- He wears things from sweatpants all the way to 'gangsta' style clothing. He wears whatever he's got, throws it on, and goes. He really doesn't care what he looks like. If he hasn't shaved his head, he might not even brush his hair.. who knows. But he just doesn't care. -- He has long slenderish fingers, almost like piano-playing type. He has always wanted to play the paino, but has never really learned how. And he would kinda feel stupid if he tried to get into it now.. I mean he is eighteen. He's not really self-absorbed like some people think he is, but he figures it's just because they're jealous.

Personality:
This guys is totally himself. I'm sure there are plenty of guys from the 'hood' that grew up and obviously misbehave, right? Of course. Ryan is a guy with few words, a mind blowing vocabulary, and a sarcastic humor. He's a guy that can take of himself. He learned how to protect herself from a couple of druggies that owed her a couple way back when. They taught him defense methods and attack skills so he knows how to fight. He's also a guy who keeps to himself, he's not exactly the 'quiet' type, but he just doesn't have the need to say things to people or to tell others about himself. He obviously has trust issues, but he just isn't one to tell someone everything. Yeah, he might slip up a couple times, but other than that.. he's a rock. -- He doesn't have his whole future planned out for him, he just takes life as it comes. I mean, what else can he do? Ryan doesn't have any goals or anything that he's aspiring to be, besides dancing that is. He had learned how to dance ever since he could walk, basically. His mother would put on the music and the rhythm and beat would just flow through this boy's vein without hesitation. -- He's one of those people who hate society and think that everyone's out to get him. He doesn't trust anyone, not in fear, but it's just not in his interest to have everyone know him. I mean, to him, he's an average guy. Nothing interesting or unique. He's Ryan. A boring guy who has issues from the past and the present. He's not exactly what you'd call as enthusiastic or excited, because he doesn't get all hyped up for anything. He's calm as water unless you mess with him on the wrong day. -- Ryan is definitely strong, though. Emotionally and physically. He's built a wall around himself so no one can get in unless he opens the door. And he's not opening the door anytime soon. He's physically strong from the abs that he's built from all the fighting and et cetera he's had to do in Lynn. And emotionally, well.. with his past it's needed.
THE PAST MAKES THE FUTURE Hometown: Lynn, Massachusetts Income: low-class
Father: PJ Rex Mother: Hailey Kane Siblings: Sister- Tricia Kane
Personal History:
One hot summer night, Hailey Kane, age seventeen, and PJ Rex, age nineteen, met at the bar located at 24 Elm Street. They got to talking, a couple drinks, and before you know it, they were making out in PJ's car. They only stopped to rip off each other's clothing and let's just say that PJ didn't have any protection. Though, Hailey couldn't remember if she was on the pill or not. Oh well, screw it. She thought to herself. Later on that night, Hailey left the back seat of PJ's car and went home. Never to see the man again. I mean, she didn't even know his last name. -- Nine months later, Hailey had a little boy named Ryan Kane. She never contacted the father, because five months previous, she had heard that he had gotten killed by a drive by. She wanted to run, to bring her baby someplace safer than this place, but it was so not going to happen with Hailey's small income. Her mother had died when she was a young girl and her father was a drunken moron who was being supported by her. She couldn't support her father and her child, because she couldn't be home with Ryan and working at the six different jobs she had. So she left Ryan with her next door neighbor. -- Growing up on the wrong side of the neighborhood, Ryan grew up into a trouble maker and a loner. He had no friends, or if he did they either moved or switched friends. Ryan was alone in this world with his mother and his idiotic grandfather. Though, when he turned eleven, his grandfather died of liver disease from all the alcohol he'd been consuming. His mother and himself couldn't have been more thrilled because that meant that they had more money for themselves. Hey, the old bastard was selfish, why couldn't they be? Ryan grew up without a big wardrobe, without many things, with little food, but he understood that it wasn't his mother's fault so he got a job at the age of thirteen to help Hailey out. He was grateful that his mother wasn't like other mothers, who went out and slept with guys and made her kid stay home alone all night. He was happy to know that his mother actually gave a care. -- But then his mother passed away from a cause that the doctors wouldn't tell Ryan. He tried to persuade them, but they were stuck on their answer "No". So, he left the only home that he had known with the little he owned. He emptied out the fridge of all the still good food, his personal valuables, and his mother's personal valuables. Plus, he took the emergency stash of money that his mother had kept for Ryan if he ever needed it for anything at all. Good thing, because he needed it now. The landlord wouldn't let Ryan keep the place because he was too young so he ended up staying on the streets. That's when he learned the ways of the street. Theft, vandalism, et cetera. There was no one there to tell him it was wrong. Only the police who caught him. Eventually they didn't know what to do with him anymore so they brought him here at the age of fifteen. They had asked him what he had always wanted to do.. and he told them. Dance. At first, they hadn't believe him but then he started showing off his moves and the Police Department decided to send him to Clarksbury School of Dance in New York to keep him out of trouble. This way, they knew where he was and could keep an eye on the trouble maker. But now he's on his fourth year here... he has gotten so far which he thinks is amazing progress. So much now, that the Police have stopped watching him..

Listening to the soft sound of her flipflops flipping on the sidewalk, she quickened her pace towards the coffee shop, not wanting to be seen by her stalker. Okay, well, she didn't really have a stalker but she liked to pretend. It's called... imagination. Which some people so didn't have. As Lacey looked about as she walked, she realized that there was a lotta hustle and bustle about the streets. Shrugging her slim shoulders, she erased the thoughts from her mind as if they were mistakes on a history paper. All of a sudden she saw a bright yello car that was gorgeous... and she knew just who it belonged it. She let mischief enter her pure blue eyes as she glanced at Francesco through the window. Letting her finger roll upon the smooth side of the beautiful car, she leaned against it and crossed her arms. There was a daring look within her as she watched the boy who the car belonged to. Lace stretched back a little and looked at the people passing through her Posh sunglasses. She wore faded blue hiphugging jeans, a bold red spaghetti strap tank top, and red matching flipflops. Anyways, the area which surrounded her held lots of noise, but her ears were only focused towards the coffee shop. She wanted to know if he was care so much about her on his car that he would come outside. It was a dare yet a challenge. She played with her bracelets before sticking her foot out and tripping some freshman in the high school she went to. Smirking at the kid, she raised her eyebrows. They just got up and continued walking, trying not to mess with her. By this time, her skin was warm from the sun which bathed down upon her body. The urge to jump into his car became almost an obsession but she dulled it out by pondering things of which had been on her mind. People. Shopping. Friends. Enemies. The like, really. But soon enough she was getting bored. Lacers was a very impatient person even though it had probably been only like two minutes. But she was a girl who was always on the go, never stopping a moment for anything. There was no need, at least... in her point of view.
